This paper presents my personal story describing how I have coped with being visually impaired and progressing in my education. I describe the medical and educational assistance I received because of my premature birth. This senior project consists of interviews with doctors and teachers who have helped me along the way. The project also explores schools and services that serve students with disabilities in order to help them flourish and thrive in academics and prepare them for the real world.Collections
