dc.description.abstract | Astrea is a historical novella set during the Great Fire of London. In 1666, Astrea returns to London after a failed mission to spy on her former lover, William Scot. Haunted by memories of William, and a letter she cannot part with, Astrea desperately wants to forget her past. During her first night back, a fire breaks out and threatens the entire city. Astrea must flee with her younger brother, George, and maid, Margaret, to find safety from the encroaching flames. | |
