dc.description.abstract | Nesting Doll explores echoes of memory as they relate to physical spaces and dreams. It was realized as a room-sized installation and incorporated photography, alternative photographic processes, sculpture, textiles, text, projection, and mixed media work. Themes of the work include domesticity, distortion of memory and perception, healing, queerness, nostalgia, and transformation. | |
