dc.description.abstract | In recent history, humans have used many different methods to create light when sunlight is not available. From fire to gaslamps to electric lighting, now we are entering a new stage built on LEDs. The lighting in our lives impacts our experience and how we see the world, metaphorically and literally. This lighting affects our minds, our art, and our society. It is important to discuss how the technology we choose to put in our homes affects us. With technology advancing so rapidly, converstions about what we ultimatly want and where to prioritize health and wellness are more important than ever before. | |
