    Abstract
The pieces I've created in honor of my history have a strong correlation to nostalgia translated through the specific emotions and memories of growing up in my hometown. Thinking about the present resulted in a few of the rare artworks I made based on an exaggeration of these moments I experienced and saw through rose-colored glasses. My recent paintings depict a lot of the future moments I hope to have in my life. With the paint application and experimental structures, these pieces in particular allow a feeling of discovery that comes naturally with the unknown of future plans. My past-present-future lives had been merged very closely together. With that, came a need to compose: Intimate Inspirations, an accumulation of the discoveries and the moments of my life that are most prominent to me. This subject is very exciting for me. It has significantly helped me organize what I've learned about myself. During a year of mostly solitude, this work has shown me how much I've come to rely on my own experiences and desires to entertain and uplift me during a time when I didn't feel like myself.
