dc.description.abstract | In the 1980s, pop music developed strongly in the mainland of China. In the early 1990s, pop music still maintained a strong momentum of development, but by the end of the decade, pop music gradually entered a downturn. In the 21st century, with the development of network music, pop music has entered a "grassroots" era, and the development of popular music has gradually become the focus of people's attention. In recent years, whether pop music can be established and developed in school music discipline has also become a hot topic of discussion in the music industry. The article will focus on the formation trend of pop music, its advantages and disadvantages, and its importance to the music industry as a whole. | |
