dc.description.abstract | In this study, I examine the effects of parental divorce on a child's behavior in their developing stages of life through a conducted library research. A series of peer-reviewed journals have been read, annotated and highlighted to look for significant factors and effects of the experience of parental divorce in a child's life that not only positively but negatively affect a child's behavior. Research shows that children that undergo parental divorce show emotions like anger, depression and anxiety because of how underdeveloped their minds are. The findings include the effects of divorce on a child's relationship between the parents, the siblings and the romantic encounters they acquire in the near future. The findings largely supported that the child's relationships that they acquire are affected by parental divorce at a young age, along with the idea that the child is the one to blame for the dissolution between the parents. | |
