Art is inherently therapuetic in ways that aid in expression and comprehension of themes externally and visually. Art is a tangible entity that trasnceds the ability of words and vocalization. For mentally ill or nerodiveregent people it can become complex and feel impossible to talk about or explain to others. Using collaging by means of building, articulating and comprehending externally provides a sense of self control and aids in the release of built up stress, anxiety and trauma. I was able to create a cohesive digital zine to incorporate and share my own art as therapy. I used collage to express and work through healing inward. Using myself as the muse I was able to bring about real change in my daily life.Accessibility Statement
