dc.description.abstractThe intention of this paper is to develop an influence of communication skills after playing video games. The study was done in a mixed methods manner. The methods included was a content analysis of six video games. Further library research is also done to discover connections between games and gender. Some major findings from the content analysis can be broken into : key choices, presentation of assessment, and method of assessment. The scholarly articles provided details on the strong impact of games on girls. Overall, this study analyzes the influence of media, consequences of actions and tests empathy. Furthermore, it also tests the ability to acknowledge the importance of life and work on supporting others. Key words: choice, moral, interpersonal, video game, communication
