As humans, we are mentally and physically more attracted to visuals. This research explores the value of visual communication in marketing and advertising. Graphic design is used to enhance messaging through the creation of appealing content for consumer engagement. Key elements of graphic design are introduced and discussed along with examples supporting best practices. The purpose of this paper is for small business owners and up and coming entrepreneurs to appreciate the role in uses of graphic design in advertising and other forms of marketing based communications.Collections
