Four friends, actors, and scholars enter the theater of the mind and conduct rigorous, polyvocal ethnographies of a cold ocean world that doesn't exist. Drawing on genealogies of affect theory and posthuman applications of semiotics, the four of us embody complex anthropological and political concepts in a philosophically-informed, remodeled game of homebrew Dungeons & Dragons. Through this process, as we become closer, we experience shifting affirmations in consciousness, communication, affect, and transversality.
