dc.description.abstract | This paper details my current art practice as a developing artist. It explores the general themes and content that informs my work as well as the mediums I use to bring them into existence. I point to individual pieces in the paper as a way of anchoring my more abstract ideas to physical examples of work that serve as the manifestations of said conceptual exploration. Both the contemporary and historical contexts my work exist within are analyzed and discussed. Finally, I discuss my most recent collection of work and end the paper with a conclusion that summarizes the ideas engaged with in throughout the thesis. | |
