For my Senior Project, I analyzed academic papers and interviews in order to explore and prove my thesis. I was aiming to provide evidence that the music genre, Heavy Metal, has the ability to be emotionally cathartic to its dedicated listeners. I talk about the community and how it is viewed from an inside and outside perspective as-well as the behaviors and commonalities between listeners.
