What They Look For: Navigating A New Publishing World

Abstract

The project covers a myriad of topics, ranging from the new and emerging world of self-publishing to the relationship between the author and the reader in contemporary literature. One central truth throughout the course of publishing history remains: the dissemination of information always expands into further corners of the globe, and the post-modern movement is intrinsically tied to the development and evolution of the publishing industry into what we see today. Interviews with people within varying sectors of the publishing industry spread new light on my own journey as a writer.
