Abstract
A New Yesterday is a dystopian novel that follows two protagonists, Alex and Wyatt, in their journey in time to save the world. Alex is lesbian in a world where being gay is a crime, and Wyatt is a man of color in a world that is divided by race. Alex is currently in Prison for stealing and Wyatt is outside the city as part of the resistance. They each have to overcome their own personal struggle and their oppressors to save the world.
