Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the world as we knew it was put on hold. This has proven to have taken a major toll on the music and arts industry. Since people obviously are recommended not to interact together unless necessary, the government has put a hold on live performances and touring. Musicians and artists who rely on income from touring are struggling to make ends meet like they used to. Venues and bars across America are also closing due to this lack of business. In this writing, I propose a solution in the form of COVID-friendly, live-streamed events hosted on internet platforms such as Veeps and Twitch. Upon execution of such an event, I have found that these types of shows could be a great way for artists to put on a performance in todays climate, and get some money pumping back into the music industry.
