dc.description.abstract | This experimental documentary addresses the racial disparities in the missing and murdered children populations. Black children in America go missing at evidently higher rates than any other race of children. These statistic, though staggering, isn't surprising. As being a member of the Black community, Black death and pain has been splattered over our screens for centuries, however I hope to change that narrative through film. To show all facets of Black grief through the tales of mothers, and to uplift and honor their children. | |
