dc.description.abstract | My thesis features a collection of creative writing pieces highlighting the inadequacies of the education system in aiding students social-emotional health, physical safety and other basic needs. These pieces include stories of failed education, the impact of traumatic life events on school performance, neurodiversity in the classroom, the exclusivity of all male/white spaces and the harmful inadequacy of standardized testing.
