Abstract
The purpose of this research was to show how we can use 3-dimensional printing to convey mathematical concepts. 3-dimensional printing has gained popularity over the years and has been used for a multitude of purposes. There was an attempt to print Pascal’s Triangle, the cube of (a+b)3, and the tools used to determine the volume of a cone. The printing of the designs was unsuccessful; however, the designs can still be printed with a different printer. Furthermore, it does not take away from the validity of using 3-dimensional printing to convey mathematical concepts.
