Abstract
This paper will outline the NFL's concussion protocol and the evaluation and treatment of the players and highlight the role of the people that are responsible for initiating the concussion protocol for the players that may have suffered from a concussion related injury. Specifically with this paper, I will delve into the protocol, the injury itself, the posted Game Day checklist that the NFL has provided, the protocol the players must go through after to Return-to-Practice, and the Helmet Testing Lab results. I urge for this paper to call attention to the Concussion Protocol, to highlight the urgency of the protocol and to inform the readers of how severe the protocol is, and why it should be followed.
