Abstract
The Stars We Saw in Each Other is a novella that explores the ups and downs of American college life. Written as a contemporary romantic comedy the reader is introduced to college juniors Lucy Pine and June Kim who are both struggling with difficulties in their lives; Lucy with mental health challenges and June with the high expectations placed on him by a demanding father. In the midst of this, over weekly study sessions together in the library, the two of them develop crushes on one another. June's roommates notice their mutual attraction and set the pair up on a date without their knowledge.
