Abstract
This curriculum project was created by a teacher, for teachers, focusing on purposeful questioning for a trigonometric circular motion unit in an inquiry based Algebra II classroom. The curriculum project includes investigations that delve in to the patterns of change of a coordinate point, and rotation of the central angle in circular motion. A hands on activity connects the unit circle to the sine and cosine curve. Purposeful questioning pushes students’ problem solving skills, and deep understanding of the material to further student learning. The curriculum is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for trigonometric functions.
