What We Leave Behind

What We Leave Behind is a five year chronicle of confessional contemporary poems set amidst the ongoing opioid epidemic, highlighting what that struggle and grief looks like on the outside and on the inside. This work further aims to magnify the ways in which people leave impressions on the world around them. By reflecting on political and personal subjects I hope to give readers a greater understanding of how the world works from different points of view.
