Abstract
Aquatic macroinvertebrates are crucial for regulating freshwater bodies through their diverse use of habitat. Stream site and substrate were tested to determine the effect on abundance and taxonomic diversity of macroinvertebrates in streams. Stream site more than substrate was found to affect the abundance of macroinvertebrates due to habitat use.
