Abstract

Adding sugar solutions to soil can promote plant growth by providing nutrients that can promote bacterial growth in soil. We measured several plant growth parameters including height, biomass, flowering, and photosynthetic activity. Initial results did not indicate enhanced plant growth was correlated to sugar amendments in the soil.
