Abstract
This project is a creative exploration of ancestry and culture. This creative exploration revolves around two projects - a guidebook on ancestral veneration and a symbolic quilt intertwining traditional crochet patterns and Kente weaving. A companion book contextualizes the quilt, featuring family stories, creative endeavors, and inspiration. Together, these projects celebrate the diverse threads of my identity.
