Abstract
Geomorphic surface features can alter the chemistry of infiltrating waters and affect downstream water quality. In this study, we analyzed waters collected from landslides in the Adirondack Mountains. In contrast to tectonically active regions, results show that landslides have fewer dissolved solids and are more acidic than nearby forested streams.
