Abstract
Polyesters are a beneficial category of plastics found everywhere, from bottles to the clothes we wear. However, the degradation of polyesters in the environment is slow, and they build up in landfills. Our goal is to develop a new class of rapidly degradable polyesters derived from naturally occurring raw materials.
