Abstract
There is a category of people who make technological modifications to their own bodies in the pursuit of improvement or pure curiosity. The first half of this paper explores these people as a precursor to transhumanists, and the eventual goal to upload one's mind to a digital world. The second half of the paper is about a short animation revolving around these concepts, and the potential consequences of uploaded intelligence.
