Abstract
White Plains Rugby Football Club has had a long history of success and looked primed to have a very successful 2019/20 season. With a strong collection of American and foreign players, the club had built a tough team. Rugby has been slowly gaining traction in North America and the club was banking on a national championship win to cement their push to higher-level competitions. However, none could have foreseen the COVID-19 pandemic and how devastating its impact would be on the club and the league. With their season in jeopardy and their future uncertain, WPRFC faces the most trying time in their history.
