Abstract
This paper chronicles the development of Little Dream Soup. In this game the user plays as a mouse that lives in a cabin-stump in the woods, the player must forage and farm for ingredients to make soup, gaze at the stars, and dream of one day reaching the cheese moon. A game like this could take years to develop. This game is a stepping stone to fully releasing the game with a playable demo. Struggles, successes, inspiration, research and a little insanity are all encapsulated in this document. This project uses Unity as the game engine, Blender for 3D asset creation, Procreate and the GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) for 2D asset creation, Waveform for audio manipulation, and C# for the coding language.
