Abstract
This series is in response to my emotional journey and should demonstrate the experience of fragmented consciousness. I've studied various aspects of human consciousness through psychology and the science of perception. The theories of awareness have allowed me to explore the symbolism of architecture that interested me in the literature I enjoy. I will describe how it relates to my personal experience with space in my childhood. To incorporate these interests I use unresolved forms to raise questions about the definition of identity and autonomy of humans. I want to use the mind's affinity for subliminal imagery to engage the viewer and portray the potential for change in the image.
