Abstract
This is a study on New York raised self identifying Ecuadorian Americans and their memories of childhood. How a group of bi-cultural second generation immigrants define and achieve success according to the different parenting styles and lessons taught by at least one Ecuadorian self identifying parent. The method of research is an anonymous survey of 22 questions (10 multiple choice, 5 linear scale, 2 check boxes, and 5 paragraph long text questions) distributed virtually on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).
