Abstract
Abstract: The purpose of my senior project is to examine how the anti-Vietnam War movement in the United States influenced the 1968 U.S. presidential election. When examining the media coverage of the war, the chaotic events of "The Sixties" and the actions taken by the political leaders, there is evidence of how the anti-war movement was able to grow into a force strong enough to create a great political divide within the Democratic Party and the country as a whole.
