Abstract
For this study, a thematic analysis was utilized to examine how Fellows of the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (BMGIM) address shame and guilt when working with individuals in addiction recovery. This qualitative approach, guided by qualitative thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006), enabled the identification of emerging themes, concepts, and theories through inductive reasoning and systematic coding (Daveson, 2017; Hiller, 2016).
