Abstract
For my senior project, I explored the Salem witch trials of 1692 through a contemporary lens. By analyzing the historical context behind the trials and finding parallels to modern society, my goal is to challenge traditional views of power and illuminate how marginalization in the past can be interpreted in today's society. The research looks into how marginalized groups were labeled and persecuted during these witch hunts and compares how these practices reflect on current experiences of minority groups.
