Abstract
More than a year after the COVID-19 pandemic first forced an unsuspecting public into their homes, much remains to be learned about the effects of a year of isolation on our collective mental health. Using studies and articles from the past year, along with further background research and firsthand accounts, this project seeks to examine the effects of pandemics on the human psyche. In particular, this project seeks to determine what the lasting impact of COVID-19 on mental health both as an aspect of overall health and as an industry.
