Abstract
What else is there to know? I'm forever building a house from the ruins of another. And another. It's a spectral testimony of subjects and memories denied speech. I seek to build a counter-memory for the buried. Regard the shock of words; regard their absence. Listen for the flicker of promising hope. It is the doomed project we must tarry and dance in, to reject categorization, to re-present queer lives lost to an archive that registers them at their moment of disappearance.
Maybe the best we can hope for is to see them at last on the page.
