Abstract
My drawings emerge from a space between consciousness and unconsciousness. Years of training have embedded memories of patterns, shading, and movement deep within my body, to the point where they exist outside of me, independent and alive. When I draw, it becomes a performance: the paper is the stage, and my hand, trained and intuitive, dances across it. I do not need to think about how to draw – my hand already remembers. While it moves, my mind drifts in and out of painting, thinking about the act but also beyond it. There is a delicate tension: when I consciously guide my hand, my thoughts wander, and the hand becomes the main actor, leading the process. It is an unconscious movement, but still rooted in intention. I find myself in constant flux – drawing memories from the far side of awareness, then slipping back into control. It is this back-and-forth, this oscillation between deliberate and instinctive, that defines my practice. I draw consciously, yet unconsciously. My work lives in that in-between space, where intuition and thought blend into a quiet, expressive rhythm – a dance of memory, presence, and the invisible threads that connect body and mind.
