Abstract
This study is an examination of the work of Adrian Wilson, the explorer-scientist-artist who accompanied Scott on his last expedition. In examining Wilson’s notebooks and paintings, it aims to highlight the conceptual idea of Antarctica as a frontier site for the convergence of international scientific and intellectual advancements.
