Abstract
In this senior project, the Theatre and Performing Arts student portrayed a child who tries to help and understand his friend dealing with an inhospitable home life in an original work, The Crumbled House. To support this, additional research was done on Roald Dahl's Matilda, in an effort to improve the information available about the facts of early childhood abuse and trauma, in the hopes that more children can grow up to lead better-adjusted lives.
