Abstract
Saltpassage is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure novel told from the second person perspective. The story is set three years after a meteor shatters the earth and causes a climate disaster, when two travelers collect names of people remaining throughout Europe. They each have their own reasons for choosing to undergo this strenuous journey through their broken world, and their friendship and faith in themselves are tested as they walk across the Alps and make discoveries they never thought possible. Gender binaries don't exist in this world, so all characters use "they" pronouns.
