Abstract
Violence and The Space Between is a project that deals with generational curses and the experiences of those traumatized individuals. From almost camp like violence to imagery of vibrantly colored snacks and candies of our childhood, Violence and The Space between ties together the wide array of experiences one might experience growing up in poor, predominantly black neighborhoods. Creating a home in the world of fine art for people who generally only find a home in music and cinema, if even there.
