A Milk Carton a Day Keeps the Savings Away: The Extensive Issue of Food Waste in Hospitals

This project provides a behind-the-scenes look into the food production that takes place in hospitals. Specifically, it explores the issue of food waste, what steps individuals are taking to reduce it, and the possible benefits of reduction. The story includes interviews with health care professionals, scientists, and environmental justice workers, many of whom are working to make health care more sustainable.
