Abstract
It’s common-place for people to have their homeplace, or really anything they love and feel passionate over taken for capitalistic consumption and/or personal benefit--just look at New York City. All I knew was that I was witnessing things change at Purchase, and it’s hard to validate change when it’s going on in front of you. This Senior Project is looking at neoliberalism at Purchase College and SUNY with both anthropological research and historical backing, as well as exploring how to make art on the topic of deregulation.
