Abstract
This paper details the process of creating my Senior Project for New Media from conceptualization to assembly. It delves in to the feeling of displacement that immigrants face as they learn to adapt to a new environment and new cultures. The art piece created as a result of this conceptualization serves as a voice that speaks to the everyday struggles of immigrants. It was created with the hope of making immigrants feel seen for the hardships they endure in exchange for better opportunities; to serve as a reminder of community for those confused as to how they fit in.
