Abstract
Overall, the purpose of this study is to get a better understanding of injuries to the shoulder and also how it deals with baseball. My research led me to many new things that I had no clue about that can happen to a baseball player, it was crazy to go through each article and decipher it all and actually learn the pain and struggle people can go through and the recovery period some injuries require. This whole study basically was just another way to express the importance of specific injuries and how one can either treat them correctly or even just somehow prevent it from happening to themselves. I used specific methods to find results on how much people knew about baseball injuries to the shoulder and not many people knew what I was talking about besides people who actually played really or watch it a lot. Only some people who didn’t say they watched sports said they knew about some of the injuries to the shoulder, but it was because they were interested in sports medicine. I conducted interviews to get different results on what people knew about injuries to the shoulder and the things I found out was both interesting and also very upsetting, some people knew a lot about these injuries while others knew very little, whether it was a baseball kid or a non baseball kid, being that these are the two groups I decided to interview.
