Abstract
The environment in which a child is raised, between infancy to around age seven, will have lifelong effects on his cognitive development, as learning slows down after puberty. I aim to show that there is a cut off age at which children living in adverse and isolate situations will almost never develop normally and will regress to a virtual primordial state.
