Abstract
Educators are tasked with presenting mathematics in a way that is engaging and fun for students to learn while also being expected to have them reach proficiency on teacher assessments and standardized exams. This is a challenging task. Educators who seek to place the responsibility of learning on the learner by participating in instruction will value this curriculum project. This project presents four exemplar lessons modeling how to help our students learn from their mistakes. The curriculum is percentages, but the ideas can be used for any content. When students are asked to take control of their own learning, it creates a sense of purpose that will be much stronger than any game or activity. The keys for all materials are included in the appendix.
