Abstract
Since the beginning of the 19thcentury until the turn of a new century, women went from having a "prim and proper" type of an education ideal that was left behind in the mindset of America back from being a colony of Great Britain to being able to set their own goals for what they wanted in life. As Randall says in the movie, Monsters Inc., "the winds of change" was my inspiration for the title because had it weren't for the women changing Americans' perspective on education back then, we would probably still be taking classes on penmanship, needlepointing, and drinking tea properly two centuries later.
